Adam2 —

God has always had a love affair with man. Man has always pursued God. Over thousands of years, history records both the failures and successes of man’s relentless pursuit for completion in a relationship with deity. From the first man, Adam of Genesis, man has struggled with questions like, “Who am I, Where am I going”? Responsible for man’s separation from God, the best Adam could do, was to reproduce after his own kind. For centuries men and women have come and gone only to witness dismal photocopies of this first Adam.

At the right time, God created another man in the womb of a woman. Unlike those flawed creatures before, this man was different. This man was completely new. There had never been a person like him before. Unlike the first man, who was a living soul, this man is a life quickening spirit. This is the nature of Adam2.

Vision —

We believe this generation is the most significant in history in two millennia. Adam2 is dedicated to serving this generation so that it can be released into a destiny very different from the pursuits generally followed by members of who the world has labeled Generation X. This can only be accomplished by making life’s most significant message relevant to this generation.

Adam2 focuses on this significant generation of young people that is nameless and faceless. Nameless and faceless, because they have become a blur to society, but God knows them and loves them. We love this generation and are making room for them in our hearts and scheduled events — Center Stage! Adam2 is focused on youth, serving them and opening their eyes to the great worth they have to their heavenly Father.

While our activities are local, our vision is global for the individual members of our community’s youth!

Location —

The Adam2 Center is located at 145 Highland Avenue in Kutztown. The multi-media cafe occupies 1100 square feet in this large industrial style building. In a safe environment for youth, the staff will oversee a wide venue of events ranging from live music to movies with food, a coffee bar and non-alcoholic drinks.

Adam2 is a place where life is celebrated in a style that features the importance of making right choices in life. Among all the center’s activities, the main theme centers on individual development that releases the destiny inside. Each person has great worth and value usually hidden by debris. We think of it like panning for gold in a mountain stream. It’s there, you just gotta’ find it!

Beginning this summer, the center will host musical talent on Friday nights featuring local artists. Other events will follow as we can determine scheduling and availability. Programming such as Saturday morning animated videos through our multi-media system, comedy nights and a weekday morning Breakfast Club for kids on their way to school, are some of the plans we’re anticipating.

Our Hope —

As the center grows, there is great hope for development that will include more space for large events and a wide range of opportunities for young people to explore a world that was hidden to them.There is potential space to create an activity center complete with a European style bistro. This space is waiting for large overstuffed sofas with nooks for study. Access to high speed internet, video games, ping pong and pool tables. Classes for personally tutoring students struggling in school work is a part of our dream. Concerts and seminars for youth as well as for the entire family are in the scope of this vision.

Our Hope is to see our youth released into their inherited destinies!

How You Can Help —

We believe this community is long overdue for a place where young people can come to and call their own. Taking ownership in life is a vitally important, but often overlooked issue for growth and development. The maturing process depends on becoming a responsible person who takes ownership in his or her affairs.

Adam2 Center is birthed out of a desire and mandate to make life’s most important message real to this generation. We cannot do this on our own. If we are going to be successful in affecting this generation, we need the partnership of our community. We need your heart and energies to help make this dream a living reality.

The picture below is a large room once used for manufacturing. Here we can develop a full featured activity center and cafe. The great news is — it is very possible! No longer usable for manufacturing, this space is perfect for our purposes. With heart and community spirit, this dream can see the light of a new day.
